To promote international exchange and collaboration in the prosthetics industry, a cross-border public welfare initiative is about to begin. USA Yoband Prosthetics & Orthotics and Streifeneder ortho.production of Germany have formed a strong partnership to launch the “Technology for Good · Health Without Borders” Free Clinical Consultation. Built on world-class prosthetic technology, this initiative aims to provide free prosthetic fitting assessments, rehabilitation guidance, and personalized solutions for people with limb loss in China — demonstrating through action the company’s enduring mission of “Wholehearted Service for People with Disabilities.”

Guided by the dual principles of technological innovation and humanistic care, Yoband is partnering with Streifeneder to bring advanced prosthetic expertise directly to local communities. This initiative serves as a “bridge back to life,” combining science and compassion to help amputees regain confidence and mobility.

With a history of nearly a century, Streifeneder is one of the world’s leading suppliers of prosthetic and orthotic products. Its reputation in Europe rivals that of Ottobock and Össur, earning widespread respect among users. The Streifeneder Group operates multiple specialized companies that cover a broad spectrum of prosthetic and orthotic solutions.

We invite Tomislav Svigir, the international clinical trainer, BSc Prosthetist and Orthotist, CPO CAT I. He works as a clinical trainer in the International Sales Department at Streifeneder ortho.production.
He has been in the profession for 29 years, and worked for 25 years at Otto Bock in patient care but also as a trainer for the Balkan region. He worked for 3 years as a teacher and trainer at Human Study, Germany, a school for rehabilitation sciences in the education of students for CAT I, II, and III programs.

The free clinic is divided into three main functional zones — Fitting & Evaluation, Maintenance & Adjustment, and Knowledge Sharing, forming a complete service loop of “Assessment –Adjustment – Guidance.” We will conduct residual limb data collection and functional evaluation for patients, and develop personalized prosthetic solutions tailored to their daily activity needs. Existing prostheses will undergo a comprehensive “check-up and fine-tuning” process to enhance wearing comfort and functionality. Through product demonstrations and hands-on maintenance workshops, participants will learn essential daily care and troubleshooting techniques. A dedicated Gait Training Experience Zone will also be available, where rehabilitation specialists demonstrate proper walking posture and help patients gain better control and confidence in using their assistive devices.

This cross-border humanitarian initiative aims to bridge distances through professional expertise and rebuild confidence through compassionate care. We sincerely invite both new and returning patients to visit the event and participate in this meaningful activity.
