Recently, the Federation of Disabled Persons and designated medical institutions for disability assessment in Yiling District, Yichang City, jointly conducted an "Enterprise Tour" activity to serve disabled persons in 12 enterprises employing disabled persons in 5 townships (including streets and pilot zones).
 
In order to actively implement the "Double Hundred" project (The purpose of this project is to achieve 100% coverage of social work service stations throughout the province, and 100% coverage of disadvantaged and special groups with jobs) and effectively solve practical problems such as the expiration of disability certificates for some employees in enterprises that employ disabled persons, the Federation of Disabled Persons of the townships (streets, pilot zones) where some enterprises employ disabled persons are located have conducted a preliminary survey of disabled employees whose disability certificates are valid for more than 9 years, organized service targets together with the above enterprises, and assisted disabled employees in preparing the necessary materials for disability assessment.
 
On site, experts from Yiling Hospital conducted a comprehensive examination of the physical condition of disabled employees, provided professional disability assessments for each employee who came, and provided daily rehabilitation guidance and professional responses for questions. At the same time, the display and assembly policy explanation of assistive devices was also carried out at the site. The staff of Yoband prosthetics and orthotics patiently provided disabled employees with detailed knowledge of assistive devices and assistive device assembly service policies, and provided them with free assistive device maintenance services. This event served a total of 42 disabled employees, including 39 with disabilities assessed and 3 with assistive device assembly services.
 

This on-site event has ensured that the operation of enterprises employing disabled people is not affected, and disabled employees can avoid traveling far, providing more convenience for both enterprises and disabled employees. Next, the Federation of Disabled Persons of the Yiling District will continue to strengthen its connections with enterprises that hire disabled people, continuously meet the needs of disabled employees, improve service quality, and wholeheartedly provide high-quality guarantee services for disabled people.
