To promote the exchange of experience in prosthetic fitting techniques and enhance the professional capabilities of technical personnel, the USA Yoband Prosthetics & Orthotics Group 2026 Prosthetics Skills Level Assessment was successfully held at the Chengdu Branch. Technical personnel from branches across the country participated in assessments covering theoretical knowledge and practical skills, demonstrating their professional capabilities through hands-on tasks and sharing technical experience through communication and exchange.
 
Mr. Wang Hongyu, CEO and Executive Director of USA Yoband Prosthetics & Orthotics Group, supervised and provided guidance throughout the event. Xia Yugang, Technical Manager of the Xi'an Branch, and Lv Xudong, Technical Manager of the Chengdu Branch, served as assessors. Based on the assessment criteria and candidates' practical performance, they conducted comprehensive evaluations of the technical personnel in areas including theoretical knowledge, standardized operating procedures, fabrication processes, and overall application capabilities.
 
The theoretical assessment was based on professional knowledge such as Prosthetics. The practical assessment followed actual prosthetic fitting procedures and included stages such as measurement and casting, model modification, alignment and assembly, as well as trial fitting and adjustment, comprehensively evaluating the technical personnel's capabilities in residual limb assessment, prosthetic fabrication, fitting, and adjustment.
 
During the event, the technical personnel applied their theoretical knowledge to practical tasks, while the assessment team provided guidance and exchanged insights based on their onsite performance. This not only evaluated their skill levels but also promoted the sharing and passing on of technical experience.
 
After eight days of assessment, the technical personnel demonstrated the strong professional competence of Yoband’s technical team through their solid professional knowledge and standardized performance. Among them, Wang Xia from the Xuzhou Branch and Li Bing from the Nanjing Branch performed particularly well and were awarded the honorary title of “Yoband Group Level 4 Prosthetics Technician.”
 
Zhang Qiuhua and Long Xiangjun from the Chengdu Branch, Lan Jianjun from the Nanjing Branch, Yuan Zhikang from the Zhengzhou Branch, Chen Ming from the Xi’an Branch, and Wang Junhao from the Shantou Branch were awarded the honorary title of “Yoband Group Level 5 Prosthetics Technician.” The skills-level assessment not only recognizes individual professional competence, but also provides a reference for future skills development and career growth.
 
In addition, the event featured an “Outstanding Sharing Award,” presented to Xia Yugang, Lv Xudong, Yang Ping, Wang Xia, and Gao Jianyu in recognition of their contributions. The award aims to encourage technical personnel to share their practical experience, transform individual knowledge and experience into resources for collective learning, and further promote technical exchange and the sharing of expertise.
